As per the World Economic Forum's (WEF) 2024 Global Gender Gap Index, these five nations have the worst gender parity. Read on to find India's rank.

How Nations Are Ranked

Every year, the WEF index evaluates gender parity across four dimensions: economic participation and opportunity, educational attainment, health and survival, and political empowerment.

Guinea

Ranked number 142 out of 146 nations, Guinea scored 60.1%.

Iran

At rank 143, Iran recorded a gender parity score of 57.9%.

Chad

Gaining one position from last year, Chad is on 144th spot with 57.6%.

Pakistan

Falling to 145 from its previous 142 rank, Pakistan recorded 57% pay parity.

Sudan

Maintaining its position at the rock bottom of the list, Sudan scored 56.8%.

What is India's Score?

India fell two places from 127th to 129 and recorded a gender parity of 64.1%.
